AIR CUSHION FINISH … started in Berlin 2006 by jayrope. Since March 2008 jayrope & the gorgeous vocalist Lippstueck aka Samtbody (Goldmund / Neumund / Girls United) “cathedrally” surf a formerly folkish cosm, on a new-born wave of ambiently dubbed vocals, glockenspiel, guitar & live electronics. The two enjoy being seriously light-mooded, unlike the known melancholy junkies of the genre (no tent nor trend, but a sauna…). Still they’d make you cry & laugh without a warning, at times.
